Sounds like the first step to getting onshore wind built would be replacing the Conservative party (that you have hitherto supported) with the Labour parry in government.
Genuinely interesting ideas and an enjoyable read. But surely the most obvious answer is to vote out the party held hostage by the small minority of nimbys and allow another party with a different voter base to support more projects? I dont think we even need much legislative reform, at least in the short term. Projects could start being signed off by gov ministers almost immediately. Then new legislation can rumble on through the commons...
